Our Story – Brick By Brick

SmartStruct was not always a construction management software, but a solution to a problem we had with our own business. Our housing development company would string together several apps and services to manage our projects. All our information was tied to time-consuming spreadsheets and was disjointed across multiple apps. We felt we never truly had a transparent overview of how our projects were doing.

It prevented us from truly seeing and learning from our past projects, and our team was always just a little out of the loop. There was never an option that truly fit what we needed.

We wanted to build something better. We soon realised we weren’t the only ones frustrated by the options out there.

We saw such a gap between the manual, slow spreadsheets and CRMs and the kind of software you needed to be a rocket scientist to decipher. We wanted to make construction management software that could grow with you. You’re never too small, and you’re never too big. Use only what you need, so you’re not overwhelmed by processes.
