Our founder, and responsible for the ideas that became SmartStruct.

Dean has over two decades of experience in the construction industry across domestic, retail, education, custodial and commercial projects, with a passion for efficiency and process.

A successful owner of a housing development business long before the conception of SmartStruct, Dean has experience with the frustrations related to construction projects that are never quite as smooth as you imagine.

Dean is big on data, so are we. He believes you should be able to see all the information from your project, because when this is possible, you are able to learn from that project and improve your next one. He believes a business should never be stagnant.  You should always be learning and improving; if you think you know it all, you’ve already lost.

His goal for creating SmartStruct was to ensure other businesses, no matter the size, had the opportunity to grow alongside their software, as he has. Fiddly software, manual processes or bad communication really do hold you back. So he wanted to make sure SmartStruct solved these problems, for everyone.
